  • Who We Are

Pavement Surface Control has been involved in the Tri-City construction industry for nearly 50 years. In 1962 the Homewood family saw a need in the business community for parking lot pavement maintenance and striping.  Pavement Surface Control was born.  Over the years the company has seen many changes.  Pavement Surface Control is now owned and operated by Dorothy McDaniel and is a woman-owned, certified Disadvanged Business Enterprise (DBE) in Washington state. While Pavement Surface Control continues the parking lot maintenance services of striping, crack sealing, seal coating, and extruded curb, it has expanded into the street and highway construction industry.  On the construction side Pavement Surface Control provides temporary and permanent concrete median barrier, temporary construction signs and permanent roadway signs, street and highway striping, and traffic control services in eastern and western Washington.  In 2009 the company began manufacturing and producing temporary and permanent concrete median barrier for its use on highway construction projects throughout Washington.  Our Yakima field office serves the central Washington region for traffic control services. Our goal is to provide a quality service in an ever changing business world.  We want to build strong relationships that will last for years to come.
